How to enable the firewall in Windows XP

1. Open the "Control Panel."
    a. If in "Classic View" click the "Windows Firewall" link.             XP_ControlPanel1

     b. If in "Category View" click the "Security Center" icon then the "Windows Firewall" icon.

2. In the "Windows Firewall" box click the button before "On (recommended)."

3. Click "Ok."
